Field Service Engineer PET/CT

Location: Baltimore, MD

In medical imaging device service and repair.

Summary/Objectives

Provider of medical imaging repair and maintenance seeks an experienced Service Engineer to maintain and repair PET/CT and medical imaging devices. Must have this skill set and experience! The role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Essential Responsibilities
  1. Assist in the repair of diagnostic imaging equipment specific to PET/CT medical imaging devices.
  2. Be a self-starter, able to travel and work independently with minimal supervision.
  3. Resolve problems, think analytically, and communicate professionally in high-pressure, time-sensitive environments.
  4. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, including calibrations and verifications of system specifications.
  5. Learn and gain knowledge of imaging equipment to perform preventative maintenance.
  6. Document all service activities accurately in accordance with company quality standards.
  7. Assess, calibrate, and maintain test equipment.
  8. Submit field service reports timely and according to standards.
  9. Communicate with account managers regarding services provided.
  10. Manage and maintain company assets required for job functions.
Supervisory Responsibility

There are no supervisory responsibilities for this role.

Work Environment

This role operates in the field, visiting various sites with different medical imaging equipment.

Work Schedule

Primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands

Must be able to talk and hear, frequently stand and walk, lift up to 75 lbs, handle or feel with hands, and reach with arms.
