For our client, we are seeking a Field Service Engineer 2 to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This remote role focuses on advanced field service support for complex medical imaging equipment, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting, repair, installation, and maintenance. The position partners closely with internal teams and external customers to resolve technical issues quickly and deliver a high level of service. It also includes mentoring less experienced field engineers, serving as an escalation point, and helping drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,120 - $157,680 annually

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair on assigned MRI and CT equipment
• Conduct installation, validation, and maintenance on designated equipment
• Lead and mentor less experienced Field Engineers by providing coaching and feedback
• Manage customer communications and serve as an escalation point for concerns
• Own customer issues from identification to resolution through proactive collaboration with team members
• Co-lead team meetings and communicate headquarters and zone initiatives
• Recommend value-added services to enhance customer operations

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• Equivalent military education with 4+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• High School Diploma or equivalent with 8+ years of experience servicing electrical equipment
• Experience interfacing with internal teams and external customers in a solution-based service process
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic equipment
• Familiarity with web applications and Microsoft Office Suite
• Must comply with background check and customer access policies
