Introduction: We are a long-established nationwide service company for all ranges and manufacturers of coffee machine equipment. Due to continued expansion, we now have a requirement for a Mobile Coffee Machine Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Technical Manager and working within a team of engineers. The successful candidate will carry out installations as well as respond to re-active and planned service calls on all types of Coffee equipment in all types of environments, machine types include both traditional and fully Automatic, including but not limited to, Cimbali/Faema, CMA and Wega, Bravilor, Carimali, Conti, Expobar, Schaerer, Rex Royal. Please note you must be flexible in your approach to travel. You will also be required to work some weekends on a rota basis and be flexible with your working week. The successful candidate must have a strong electrical / mechanical engineering background and have experience within a field engineering role.
Responsibilities: - Attend customer sites and carry out the Installations planned maintenance, and reactive breakdown work. Providing customers with full training on the operation and care of equipment, Carry out preventative and routine maintenance on equipment. Ensure that equipment is in good working order, carry out relevant testing and ensuring equipment is set to a customer’s specification. Always provide a professional service to customers. Complete all service documentation ensuring that everything is kept up to date.
Applicant Requirements: Essential: Strong mechanical / electrical skills. Experience within a service engineering role. Ability to read and understand circuit and hydraulic diagrams and schematics. Ability to repair to operational component level. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interface with customers. Team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Hold full driving license.
Company van at present VW Caddy, fuel card, mobile phone, uniform - Full training provided, Holiday 20 days with 1 additional day per year after 2 years of service up to a maximum of 25. Opportunity to join a nationwide, well established family orientated company.
