Job summary

Beckman Coulter in Raleigh, North Carolina, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventive maintenance, and service repairs on Beckman Coulter equipment with minimal direction.

You will provide excellent service to customers, deliver technical training, maintain accurate service logs, order repair parts, and use OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for planning.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military experience in technical field.
• At least 1 year diagnosing and repairing mechanical/electromechanical/electronic equipment.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of complex systems.
• Ability to travel – 100% travel, some overnight visits within territory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods.

Requirements

• Associate degree (prefer technical, biomedical, instrumentation, electrical engineering or related) or equivalent military experience.
• 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
• Hands on experience with troubleshooting complex systems.
• Ability to travel – 100% travel, some overnight visits required, within territory or locations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb unassisted.
• Candidates must be able to frequently bend, stoop, twist, turn, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods of time.
• Candidates must also be able to reach at, above and below shoulder level, flex/extend neck, have good hand, and finger dexterity.
