TipTopJob is recruiting Field Service Engineers for nationwide home-based roles covering regional territories. You will service, maintain and repair heavy plant at customer sites, with manufacturer-backed training and a company van provided.

Ideal candidates have field service experience, strong diagnostics, and knowledge of diesel, hydraulics and electrical systems, plus a full UK driving licence and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Previous field service or mobile engineering experience.
• Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• Experience working on heavy mobile equipment.

Responsibilities

Field Service Engineer : Heavy PlantLocation: Nationwide : Home Based / Regional Coverage

Salary: GBP 38,000 : GBP 48,000 depending on experience

We're supporting a growing construction equipment manufacturer with the appointment of a number of Field Service Engineers across the UK. These are home:based positions covering an agreed regional territory, working directly with customers to keep heavy plant and construction equipment running efficiently. It's a good opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys being out in the field, solving problems and working independently, while still having the backing and training that comes with a manufacturer environment.

The roleYou'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of construction and heavy plant machinery at customer sites.

Typical Work Will Include

What we're looking forWe're interested in speaking with engineers from construction equipment, heavy plant, agricultural machinery, HGV or similar heavy engineering backgrounds.
