Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support pre- and post-sales activities for spatial instrumentation in life sciences. The role involves on-site installation, maintenance, and repair at customer sites with frequent travel; you will provide remote and on-field technical support across Germany.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field service engineering experience in life sciences, research, diagnostics, or medical devices.
• Qualifications in microsystems, mechanical engineering, bioengineering, electrical engineering, or microscopy optics.
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience; IT support experience preferred.
• Hands-on laboratory techniques experience preferred.
• Fluent English (oral and written); additional languages advantageous.
• Valid driving license; ability to handle heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
• Strong customer service skills, problem-solving mindset, and independent work capability.
