Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Field Service Engineer to build, configure, maintain, and field complex networking and satellite communications equipment at the TS/SCI level.

You will establish satellite network architectures for multiple customers, troubleshoot, and provide training to military users. Travel up to 50% CONUS/OCONUS is required.

Qualifications

• Active DoD TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph.
• BA/BS with 3+ years full-time experience, or 4+ years with an Associate degree, or 6+ years with no BA/BS.
• Hands-on integration experience with secure networks, routers, switches, COMSEC devices, and satellite/transport systems.
• CompTIA networking experience.
• Ability to travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and test classified networking equipment, including multi-enclave networking suites and secure transport systems.
• Subject matter expert in deploying satellite communications systems, including link initialization, troubleshooting, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot system issues to isolate faults, maximize network performance, and provide Tier II and Tier III support.
• Configure and train customers on proper use of equipment, including Virtual Machines, VoIPs, COMSEC devices, and HAIPE encryptors.
• Maintain professional demeanor when interacting with customers, government stakeholders, technical leads, and field units.
• Deliver hands-on instruction to military users, training end users on setup, operation, troubleshooting, and sustainment.
• Assist with developing training material, technical design packages, POIs, quick reference guides, and user procedures.

The Opportunity

CACI is Seeking a Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for building, configuring, maintaining, and fielding complex networking and satellite communications equipment at the TS/SCI level. Establishes satellite communications network architecture for use by multiple customers and consumers. Maintains technical expertise in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switches, firewalls, gateways, virtual machines, COMSEC, etc. Travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS to setup, train, instruct and interact with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and test classified networking equipment, to include multi-enclave networking suites and secure transport systems
• Subject matter expert in the deployment of satellite communications systems of all types, to include link initialization, troubleshooting, and optimization
• Ability to troubleshoot any system issues to isolate faults, maximize network performance, and track bandwidth and provide Tier II and Tier III troubleshooting support
• Configure and train customers on the proper use of equipment, to include Virtual Machines, VoIPs, COMSEC devices, and HAIPE compliant inline network encryptors
• Maintain professional demeanor when interacting with customers, government stakeholders, technical leads, and field units
• Deliver hands‑on instruction to military users, training end users on system setup, proper operation, troubleshooting techniques, and sustainment
• Ability to assist with developing training material, technical design packages, POIs, quick reference guides, operational user guides, and operational procedures

Qualifications

Required:

• Active DoD TS/SCI with Counterintelligence Polygraph
• BA/BS with at least 3 years of full time experience, or 4+ years of full time experience with an Associates degree, or 6+ years of full time work experience with no BA/BS degree
• Hands‑on integration experience with secure networks, routers, switches, COMSEC devices, and satellite/transport systems
• CompTIA networking experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% CONUS and OCONUS

Desired

• Experience working in a DoD Contracting Environment
• Experience supporting Army, SOCOM, or IC communications systems
• Background in tactical networking, SATCOM, and multi‑level data flow
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively verbally and in writing
• Prior instructor or training development experience for military systems
