Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at a leading equipment manufacturer. This role emphasizes strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and hands-on work on highly automated systems.

Training includes safety certification and hands-on mentoring before taking ownership of equipment support. You'll travel to customer sites as needed and collaborate with engineering teams to implement corrective actions,

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on installed semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Use schematics and testing procedures to resolve failures.
• Perform electrical testing using multimeters (voltage, current, resistance, continuity).
• Utilize torque wrenches and precision tools during maintenance.
• Follow LOTO safety procedures and site standards.

Insight Global is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment at a leading equipment manufacturer. This role is ideal for candidates with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who enjoy hands-on work, solving complex equipment issues, and maintaining highly automated systems.

You'll receive comprehensive training that includes safety certification, web-based learning, instructor-led technical training, and hands-on mentoring from experienced engineers before taking ownership of equipment support activities.

What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on installed semiconductor manufacturing equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to minimize equipment downtime
• Use technical documentation, schematics, and troubleshooting procedures to resolve equipment failures
• Perform electrical testing using multimeters, including voltage, amperage, resistance, and continuity checks
• Utilize torque wrenches and other precision tools during maintenance activities
• Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) safety procedures and site safety standards
• Partner with engineering teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Travel as needed to support customer sites and equipment installations
