Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

1. Work independently to install, modify, test, repair, or inspect company products and equipment, including low voltage and medium voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, protection relays, and rotating machinery.
2. Perform or coordinate complex engineering activities associated with field projects.
3. Interpret technical drawings and schematics, making changes as necessary in the field to reflect work carried out on site.
4. Assist the business development unit with technical knowledge for generating quotations and proposals. The work model is remote, contributing to the Measurement and Analytics group in Houston, TX, or Miramar, FL.

Qualifications for the role

• Five or more years of experience in marine power generation and power distribution, focusing on circuit breaker and switchgear maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of protection relays and excitation.
• Associate's Degree in engineering or a related technical field, or a combination of education and experience with demonstrated accomplishments.
• Familiarity with marine/offshore work environment and procedures.
