This position involves supporting controls engineering tasks, including designing and starting up PLC-controlled systems for material handling equipment. The role requires participation in all phases of product development, from analysis to installation support, with training provided to enhance PLC programming skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project requirements and troubleshoot controls issues supporting equipment, engineering, project management, and customers.
• Support electrical installation by coordinating with electrical installers.
• Debug electrical controls and motor components of limited complexity.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of controls engineering experience.
• Proficiency in programming PLCs, especially Studio 5000 and Rockwell.
• Willingness to travel 65-75% of the time.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and conveyors.
• Familiarity with Rockwell RSLogix automation software.

Work Environment

The role requires extensive travel (65-75%) across the country, with a typical schedule of 10 days on-site followed by 4 days off. Travel expenses are covered, and a daily per diem of $65.00 is provided.

Pay and Benefits

The hourly pay range is $30.00 - $50.00. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, HSA, transportation benefits, employee assistance, and paid time off, subject to eligibility and plan specifics.
