Wärtsilä Corporation in Puerto Rico is seeking a field service engineer to provide technical support and on-site service activities. The role is remote-based from Puerto Rico with extensive travel to customer sites and international assignments.

You will diagnose and resolve technical issues, support customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and high-quality service delivery. Eligible US work status is required for regular positions.

• Collaborates across multiple customers, external stakeholders and cross-functional teams to coordinate on-site activities and share expertise, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery and contributing to service delivery excellence.
• Participates in the continuous development of field service processes and methods by providing feedback on service processes and equipment performance, aiming for increased efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Maintains accurate records and reports on field service activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer requirements. Adheres to safety and quality standards.

Job Purpose

Provides technical engineering support and executes field service activities, ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction. This role is remote-based in Puerto Rico.

Key Accountabilities

• Performs technical tasks and troubleshooting in the field, contributing to the functionality of equipment and diagnosing and resolving technical issues in collaboration with the service team and customers.

Travel Requirements

This position requires ahigh level of travel (approximately 60%), including domestic and international assignments, both onshore and offshore.
