Soap Creek Resources in the Atlanta area is seeking a Field Service Engineer with a solid electronics background to service hematology and other medical analyzers. You will install, maintain and repair automated lab instrumentation, traveling overnight as needed to client sites in the greater ATLANTA region.

The role requires hands-on electromechanical troubleshooting, a valid electronics certificate/degree, and the ability to work independently. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

• Certificate or AAS in electronics is required.
• Minimum 3 years of field service engineering experience.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a solid customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within Field Support Group.
• Maintain vehicle inventory and tools.
• Provide basic on-site operation training for company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
