Job summary

Hire Consulting Services in the greater Atlanta area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain automated lab instruments used in medical diagnostics. The ideal candidate has electronics/troubleshooting expertise and is willing to travel overnight as required.

This full-time role offers a base salary of 65K–82K, a company vehicle, and comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, 401K, and tuition reimbursement. Vaccination against COVID-19 is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline is required.
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required; field service in medical devices preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and preventive maintenance of instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within Field Support.
• Maintain car inventory and tools/parts.
• Provide on-site training on operation of instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

Qualifications:

• A Certificate or AAS Degree in electronics or a related discipline is required.
• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities:

• Will be involved with the installation, servicing, and preventive maintenance of the instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinates problem resolution within the Field Support Group
• Maintain car inventory, such as tools, trunk stock (parts), etc.
• Providesbasic on-site training regarding the operation of company instrumentation
