Job summary

Ashton North LLC in the greater Atlanta area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and maintain medical laboratory analyzers. The role involves travel to customer sites and hands-on electronics troubleshooting.

You will build strong customer relations, coordinate issue resolution with the Field Support Group, and manage on-board inventory of tools and spare parts. A relevant electronics credential and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS degree in electronics or related discipline required.
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a good customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within the Field Support Group.
• Maintain car inventory including tools and spare parts.
• Provide basic on-site training on operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.
