Job summary

KLA Industries, Inc. in the greater Atlanta, GA area is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on automated hematology, chemistry, and other medical laboratory instrumentation.

The ideal candidate will have strong electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and be willing to travel overnight. Candidates must have a certificate or AAS in electronics, at least three years' field service experience, and be fully vaccinated.

Qualifications

• Certificate or AAS in electronics or related discipline required.
• Experience with electronics and electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a field service engineer.
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or medical instrumentation is a plus.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on instrumentation.
• Establish a strong customer relations foundation.
• Coordinate problem resolution within Field Support Group.
• Maintain vehicle inventory including tools and spare parts.
• Provide on-site training on operation of company instrumentation.

**** No Relocation. Need to reside within in the greater ATLANTA, GA area, EAST / SOUTHEAST of ATLANTA

Service medical laboratory equipment (hematology, chemistry, coagulation, etc) for this manufacturer of medical laboratory analyzers. Current or recent Field Service experience in the Medical Device industry is preferred. You will be servicing automated robotic lab instrumentation in the greaterAtlanta , GAarea.

Position requires a good electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting backgrounnd.

• Good experience with electronics & electro-mechanical troubleshooting.
• Overnight travel will be required
• Minimum of 3 years experienceas a field service engineer
• Experience servicing medical lab analyzers or other medical instrumentation would be a plus.
• This job requires the individual to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
