Job summary

nVent is seeking a Field Service Technician to support TRACHTE Engineered Buildings with on-site electrical service, unit placement, and setup completion. You will manage electrical installation and service activities, following detailed drawings and documentation while upholding professional standards with customers and subcontractors.

The role requires an associate degree or 3+ years as an electrician, strong customer service, and willingness to travel up to 50% after an initial 100% onsite

Qualifications

• Associate degree or minimum 3+ years of electrician experience.
• Strong customer service background.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Willing to travel about 50% after on-site training.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Must comply with safety rules and OSHA training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site electrical service activities for unit placement and setup.
• Handle electrical portion of installation and services for projects.
• Follow drawings and documentation to position building parts accurately.
• Represent the company professionally when servicing customers and subcontractors.
