Job summary

nVent is seeking a Field Service Technician to support offsite electrical service activities for TRACHTE Engineered Buildings, including unit placement, setup, and warranty work.

You will travel up to 50% of the time after completing 4–6 months of on-site training at our WI or GA locations, and maintain an excellent driving record with a valid license. A strong customer service background is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 3+ years of electrician experience in construction/commercial settings.
• Subject to OSHA safety training, drug screens, and background checks.
• Strong customer service background and willingness to travel 50%+.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site electrical service for unit placement and setup of TRACHTE Engineered Buildings.
• Handle electrical portion of installations and services.
• Position building parts according to drawings and documentation.
• Represent the company professionally with customers, customer representatives, subcontractors, or fellow employees.
