Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical power distribution equipment. You will work hands-on with transformers, breakers, switchgear, and relays, delivering exceptional service while representing the company in the field.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, with preferred technical training or an associate degree in electrical trades. NETA certification is preferred; 3 years of related work may substitute.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical distribution equipment.
• Test transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs including occasional emergency calls with professionalism.
• Follow safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Manage, check in/out, and care for tools and test equipment.
• Travel locally and regionally with periodic overnight assignments.
