Job summary

G.D USA Inc is seeking a hands-on electrical technician to assemble, test, and modify automated equipment and components in a manufacturing setting in Richmond, VA. The role focuses on meeting project specifications, loading machine parameters, and ensuring efficient operations.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years in electrical assembly and testing of automatic machines, strong problem solving, teamwork, and good communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assembles and tests electrical equipment and components.
• Modifies electrical equipment to conform to project specifications.
• Loads required parameters into electronic drives and process controllers to ensure proper operation.
• Loads machine-specific software.
• Stabilize processes in order to meet the required machine performances (efficiency, waste rate, and equipment OEE).
• Train customer’s personnel on machine features including operation, process adjustment, and maintenance both in the classroom and on the machine.

About the Role

Assembles and tests electrical equipment and components. Modifies electrical equipment to conform to project specifications.

Bring consistency and greater efficiency to all troubleshooting in the field.

Loads required parameters into electronic drives and process controllers to ensure proper operation. Loads machine-specific software.

Stabilize processes in order to meet the required machine performances (efficiency, waste rate, and equipment OEE).

Train customer’s personnel on machine features including operation, process adjustment, and maintenance both in the classroom and on the machine.
