Job summary

Towlift Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Dock & Door Mechanic - Field Service to diagnose and repair loading docks, industrial doors, and related equipment at customer sites.

You will operate a company service truck with parts inventory and provide on-site repairs to minimize downtime. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent with vocational training, 1+ years in maintenance, and experience with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems up to 480V.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical training preferred.
• 1+ years of maintenance experience in service technician roles.
• Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems up to 480V.
• Forklift and lifting equipment experience helpful.
• Able to work in various heights and confined spaces; clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair loading docks, doors, and related equipment at customer sites.
• Operate company service vehicle and manage parts inventory.
• Provide on-site troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Maintain safety and professional conduct on job sites.
• Occasional travel and after-hours work as needed.
