Job summary

United Rentals in Irving, TX, is seeking a full-time Dispatcher to organize daily equipment dispatch and scheduling for the branch. You will assist with customer orders for deliveries and pickups, arrange emergency repairs, and coordinate driver schedules to meet customer needs.

You will support inside sales as needed, maintain safety standards, and handle calls with professionalism in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a high school diploma and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Strong multitasking and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch.
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service.
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
• Assist Inside sales team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
