Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate the daily dispatch of equipment for the Manassas branch, ensuring safe and timely operations.

You will schedule drivers, handle customer orders for deliveries and service, and arrange emergency repairs to meet customer needs. The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver's license with a clean record, and solid knowledge of DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.
• Strong multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules
• Assist Inside sales team as needed
• Other duties as assigned
