Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate daily equipment dispatch from the branch in a safe and timely manner. You will schedule drivers, handle customer orders for deliveries and pickups, and coordinate emergency field repairs while supporting the inside sales team.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and knowledge of DOT regulations. It is a safety-sensitive position within a large, employee-focused organization offering strong benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule drivers and organize dispatch of all equipment for the branch.
• Assist in taking customer telephone orders for deliveries, pickups and service.
• Arrange for all emergency field repairs.
• Answer customer calls and review driver schedules to fulfill requests.
• Assist Inside sales team as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
