Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment at customer sites. Travel is required, and you’ll contribute to safe operations while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Safe maintenance and repair of complex rental equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, diesel).
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance; maintain service vehicle.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work orders daily.
• Assist with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as assigned; safety sensitive role.
