United Rentals is seeking a Field Diesel Mechanic (Service Tech III - Field Service) to perform maintenance and repairs on complex equipment in a safe, professional manner. You will travel to customer sites, support other technicians, and maintain meticulous service records to ensure equipment remains in top condition.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and experience with repairing equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Must own inspection-ready tools.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Safely maintain and repair a variety of complex rental equipment involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems.
• Travel to customer job sites for repair/maintenance of rental or customer-owned equipment; keep service vehicle clean and professional.
• Assist in training lower level technicians as needed.
• Maintain complete and timely paperwork/electronically documented work orders daily.
• Assist with pickup and delivery of equipment and parts.
• Other duties as assigned.
