Job summary

Super Systems Inc. is seeking a REMOTE full-time Field Service Technician to support East Coast customers from the Hartford, CT area.

The role involves retrofit of control systems for thermal processing equipment, on-site commissioning, PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and end-user training. Candidates should have electrical/electronics background, PLC experience (Allen-Bradley a plus), ladder logic, PID control, SQL, and 2+ years in related fields.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronics background required.
• PLC programming experience; Allen Bradley a plus.
• Ladder logic and PID control knowledge.
• SCADA software familiarity.
• Field wiring and control system integration skills.
• Familiarity with industrial atmosphere and vacuum furnaces a plus.
• SQL knowledge is advantageous.

Super Systems Inc. is a Cincinnati based company and industrial automation systems integrator for the thermal processing industry and we are looking for a REMOTE full time project field service technician to be located in North East area. Hartford Connecticut area would be ideal location.

Field Service Technician will provide onsite service to our East Coast customers to retrofit control systems for thermal processing equipment. Our customers are heat treating facilities across the United States. Candidate will be responsible for onsite commissioning controls and SCADA equipment including PLC programming, instrument configuration and setup, SCADA screen design, customer support, project management and end user training. This job will require 75% travel, but home on weekends and holidays.

IMPORTANT Training Requirement: home office is in Cincinnati Ohio.

Knowledge / Studies / Experience:

• Electrical/electronics
• PLC programming a must; Allen Bradley a plus
• Ladder logic

Education and Experience:

• Required: Degree 2 or 4 yr Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or HVAC certified, or experience in related field

REQUIRED: 75% U.S. travel. Always home on weekends/holidays.
