Job summary

Growing HVAC is seeking a mechanically strong Field Service Technician to support commercial and industrial equipment across North America. This remote role emphasizes equipment startup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and on-site technical support at customer facilities.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC service experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and systematic troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of heating systems.
• Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and controls related issues.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, sequences of operation, and technical specifications.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing plants, mechanical rooms, and other active industrial environments.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to obtain a valid US passport.

Responsibilities

• Review newly installed equipment and perform factory authorized startup.
• Provide commissioning support, preventive maintenance, and repairs.
• Inspect mechanical installation, electrical wiring, controls, and equipment installation prior to startup.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls related issues.
• Read wiring diagrams, schematics, sequences of operation, and technical specifications.
• Work with contractors, plant personnel, engineers, integrators, and end users.
• Prepare detailed service reports including findings, photos, recommendations, and required follow-up.
• Provide hands‑on equipment instruction to operators and maintenance personnel.

Job description

We are looking for a mechanically strong Field Service Technician to support commercial and industrial mechanical equipment across North America. This is a true road-warrior role focused on equipment startup, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and technical support at customer facilities.

This is a remote role with a strong preference for employees who reside in OH, NJ, TN, AZ, or CO.

It's a Road Warrior role, traveling 45 weeks of the year. The time in the field, turning wrenches is 2 or 3 days per week, with the other days being travel days.

Experience working in Industrial Facilities and or Manufacturing Plants is desired.

4+ years of commercial or industrial HVAC service experience is required!

What You’ll Be Doing:
