Job summary

Super Systems Inc. is seeking a remote, full-time Field Service Technician to support West Coast customers from the Los Angeles area. You will commission controls and SCADA equipment, program PLCs, configure instruments, design SCADA screens, provide customer support, and train end users.

The role requires up to 75% travel across the United States, with weekends and holidays at home when not traveling. Training base is in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or HVAC cert, or related experience.
• Minimum 2 years of field service experience.
• Experience with industrial automation and control systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onsite service to retrofit control systems for thermal processing equipment.
• Commissioning controls and SCADA equipment, including PLC programming and instrument setup.
• Provide customer training and cross-site project support.

Job description

Super Systems Inc. is a Cincinnati based company and industrial automation systems integrator for the thermal processing industry and we are looking for a REMOTE full time project field service technician to be located in Los Angeles area would be ideal location.

Field Service Technician will provide onsite service to our West Coast customers to retrofit control systems for thermal processing equipment. Our customers are heat treating facilities across the United States. Candidate will be responsible for onsite commissioning controls and SCADA equipment including PLC programming, instrument configuration and setup, SCADA screen design, customer support, project management and end user training. This job will require 75% travel, but home on weekends and holidays.

IMPORTANT Training Requirement: home office is in Cincinnati Ohio.

• Electrical/electronics
• PLC programming a must; Allen Bradley a plus
• PID control
• SCADA software
• Control system integration
• Familiarity with industrial atmosphere and vacuum furnaces a plus
• SQL

Education and Experience:

• Required: Degree 2 or 4 yr Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or HVAC certified, or experience in related field
• Required: 2 years-experience
