Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II for Channel Services in the Phoenix, AZ area. The role involves installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying complex biomedical equipment with limited supervision.

The position requires a minimum of 3 years of clinical engineering experience, a valid driver's license, and strong technical aptitude. Travel up to 75% with a company car provided; hybrid work when not traveling.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment.
• Valid driver’s license required with travel as needed.
• Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentational communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification for complex biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate equipment.
• Inform supervisors about repairs, inspections, and any customer concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure service quality.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned.
