Job summary

Trimedx is seeking a Biomedical Technician II to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.

You may serve as technical advisor to clinicians, assist in equipment selection, and demonstrate adherence to TriMedx core values through respectful interactions and continuous improvement.

This role requires strong problem solving, documentation, and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent in electronics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of biomedical equipment experience in a clinical setting.
• Technical Certification (CBET) strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance assurance inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections, and operation verification procedures on biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate complex biomedical devices to manufacturers specifications.
• Inform supervisors of repair status, inspections, and any equipment concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure service quality.
• Maintain biomedical expertise through ongoing training and education.
• Assist with Service Operations Special Projects as assigned.
