Job summary

Network Cabling Services is seeking an experienced Security/Access Control Technician to support commercial, industrial, and data center projects across the Corpus Christi and Houston regions. The role focuses on access control systems, security cameras, and related technologies.

Responsibilities include installing, configuring, and maintaining readers, locks, biometrics, CCTV, and alarms; diagnosing issues; traveling to multiple project sites; and keeping detailed system records.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience with access control systems.
• Experience with card readers, locks, biometrics, and CCTV.
• Willingness to travel to multiple project sites.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain access control systems (readers, locks, biometrics).
• Install and troubleshoot CCTV and surveillance systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on security equipment.
• Troubleshoot networked security devices and software.
• Collaborate with clients to meet operational needs and compliance.
• Document work, configurations, and maintenance records.
