Job summary

General Security Services Corporation (GSSC) is seeking a Security Service Technician for on-site support of integrated security technologies. You will service Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm systems, program and test equipment, and train customers on operation and functionality.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, 2+ years in security, and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. On-call duties provide additional pay, with travel to client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• 2+ years in the security industry, service of equipment.
• Experience with Access Control, CCTV, Networking, Wireless Intrusion, Wired Intrusion and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Able to complete scheduled service calls on time and read blueprints/manufacturer manuals.

Responsibilities

• Services Access Control, CCTV, Intrusion, and Fire Alarm Systems.
• Program all GSSC systems and test equipment.
• Educate customers on system operation and functionality.
• Communicate status of service tickets daily to Customer Service Coordinator.
