Job summary

HCI Systems is seeking a Security Service Technician in Los Angeles to inspect, service, test, and repair Access Control, CCTV and Intrusion systems in medium to large commercial buildings.

The role involves responding to service calls, testing after repairs, installing and diagnosing wiring and control panels, and reading blueprints. A California Alarm Company Employee card is preferred; strong communication and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication skills, using tact and diplomacy with customers.
• Proficiency with MS Office and related industry equipment.
• Regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
• Ability to perform physical labor and work in challenging positions.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and scheduled service calls for Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
• Test all systems after repairs to ensure performance.
• Perform maintenance service calls at customer sites.
• Install, diagnose and repair wiring, devices, and control panels for security systems.
• Maintain and repair CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion system components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
• Assist customers on site with questions in a timely manner.
• Coordinate with contractors and building owners.
• Resolve field problems through research of alternatives.
