Qualifications

• Experience in commercial locksmithing and door hardware maintenance.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Experience servicing hollow metal, aluminum storefront, and wood doors.
• Commitment to safety when using power tools and heavy hardware.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service orientation.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for field work.

Responsibilities

• Install and repair commercial-grade locksets (mortise, cylindrical, deadbolt).
• Manage master key systems including pinning, rekeying, and restricted keyways.
• Install and calibrate door closers, panic bars, exit devices, and heavy hinges.
• Diagnose frame misalignment, sagging doors, and threshold damage to restore function.
• Provide site assessments and recommend hardware upgrades for security and compliance.
• Document all service activities with parts usage and site photos.
• Represent the company on-site with clear communication about repairs and maintenance needs.
