Job summary

The Contractor Consultants is seeking a skilled Commercial Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors, frames, storefront systems, and related hardware. This hands-on role requires diagnosing problems on active job sites and delivering practical solutions for customers.

Required are strong mechanical skills, the ability to work independently, and a valid driver’s license. AAADM certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience using hand and power tools safely and accurately.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with field troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read work orders, templates, and installation instructions.
• Must be able to lift and maneuver heavy doors and hardware.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and service commercial doors, frames, and hardware.
• Diagnose and fix door alignment, latching, and closing issues.
• Perform field service calls at commercial locations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and facility managers.
• Document work performed and future service needs clearly.
• Follow safety requirements and install manufacturer templates.
