About The Job:

Gorilla Energy is a top 10 energy brand in the world disrupting the energy category and is launching in the US (Gorilla USA Corp) in 2024. Backed by founding partner expertise across various beverage brands, Gorilla Energy is not your typical startup. Gorilla has a proven track record with great tasting products, transparent ingredients, and strong social and distribution partnerships.

We are hiring Field Sales Representatives responsible for selling Gorilla Energy to independent retail outlets. Ideal candidates are entrepreneur-minded, self-starters, and growth-oriented. The role covers a specific market area and is remote but requires residence within 25 miles of that territory.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with store owners and decision-makers to secure and maintain new Gorilla Energy distribution within assigned territories.
  • Reset shelves and introduce samples of Gorilla Energy.
  • Install Point of Sale (POS) materials, including shelf tags, displays, and branding.
  • Educate store owners on product ordering processes via Gorilla's DSD partners.
  • Inform store decision-makers about Gorilla Energy's brand and benefits.
  • Participate in team meetings, typically via calls.
  • Utilize the Gorilla Customer Management App to plan routes and schedule activities, demonstrating self-starting and entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Monitor app reports to track progress and follow-up on ordering gaps.
  • Share best practices and competitor insights proactively with the team.
  • Provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with store-level selling and merchandising experience.
  • Experience with DSD (Direct Store Delivery) networks preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Smartphone required for daily routing; company may issue tablets with data plans.
  • Reliable personal vehicle capable of transporting up to 20 sample cases (12-count, 16oz cans).
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.

The approximate pay range is $67,000 - $77,000, plus incentives for new store distribution. Compensation varies based on skills, location, and other factors. Gorilla Energy offers additional benefits including healthcare, mileage and cell phone reimbursements, and 401(k).
