Field Sales Representatives - North LA - Location of Glendale or San Fernando Valley, CA

Role Overview:

We are hiring Field Sales Representatives responsible for selling Gorilla Energy to independent retail outlets. Ideal candidates are entrepreneur-minded, self-starters, and growth-oriented. The role covers a specific market area territory and is remote, requiring residence within 25 miles of the assigned territory.

Responsibilities:
  1. Engage with store owners and decision-makers to secure and maintain new distribution of Gorilla Energy within your market area.
  2. Reset shelves and introduce samples of Gorilla Energy.
  3. Install Point of Sale (POS) materials, including shelf tags, displays, and brand awareness signage.
  4. Educate store owners on how to order products from Gorilla Energy's DSD partners.
  5. Inform store decision-makers about the Gorilla Energy brand and its benefits.
  6. Participate in team meetings, typically via calls, as directed by your manager.
  7. Use the Gorilla Customer Management App on your phone to plan, route, and schedule your activities. We seek self-starters with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  8. Review app reports to track progress and follow up on DSD ordering gaps.
  9. Share best practices and insights on competitors proactively with team members.
  10. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of processes and strategies.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 1 year of experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with store-level selling and merchandising experience.
  2. Experience with DSD (Direct Store Delivery) distribution networks is preferred.
  3. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  4. Own a smartphone for daily routing; the company may provide tablets with data plans for CRM reporting.
  5. Access to a personal vehicle capable of transporting up to 20 sample cases (12-pack of 16oz cans).
  6. High School diploma or equivalent.
  7. Strong relationship-building skills.

The estimated pay range is $67,000 - $77,000 annually, with additional incentives for securing new store distributions. Compensation may vary based on experience, skills, and location. Gorilla Energy offers a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, mileage reimbursement ($.67/mile), cell phone reimbursement, and 401(k) options.
