Arrow Electronics is seeking a Field Sales Representative I dedicated to the Aerospace & Defense segment. The role focuses on developing new accounts and underpenetrated Aerospace & Defense opportunities, targeting venture-capital-backed companies and leads from Arrow 360 campaigns.

You will build a disciplined prospecting cadence to convert leads into opportunities, align Arrow solutions with customer needs, and drive revenue and margins across global transactions.

Position Field Sales Representative I

Job Description This dedicated hunter role is exclusively focused on the Aerospace & Defense segment, with a clear mandate to develop new accounts and underpenetrated accounts. The primary responsibility is to identify, engage, and convert venture capital-backed companies and to aggressively follow up on qualified supplier and internal leads generated through Arrow's 360 campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

• Drive new-account acquisition and expand underpenetrated Aerospace & Defense accounts. Proactively pursue venture-capital-backed companies and qualified supplier and Arrow 360 campaign leads, prioritizing opportunities with strong growth, profitability, and margin potential.
• Build a disciplined prospecting and follow-up cadence that converts leads into qualified opportunities and new business. Use market and territory knowledge, supplier relationships, and Arrow resources to uncover customer needs, solve business challenges, and create demand for Arrow's full portfolio of solutions, products, and services.
• Generate sales by developing new opportunities and guiding product selection. Apply a strong understanding of Arrow's solutions to align capabilities with customer business needs, grow revenue and profit, and maximize margins. Coordinate global transactions across regions to improve business capture and develop strategic customer sales and marketing plans.
• Build influential relationships with customers and suppliers while staying current on Aerospace & Defense market trends, competitive products, and technology. Develop relationships with decision-makers, including management and C-level executives, to identify future opportunities and accelerate account development.
• This role requires participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE is variable and tied to specific sales-related goals established by Arrow.

What We're Looking For

• (1) Incumbent has limited level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under general supervision, and solves some straightforward problems. Incumbent generally has limited work experience involving basic concepts and procedures but requires formal training in theories/concepts in own function.
• (2) Incumbent has high level of discretion to vary from established procedures, works under broad supervision, and solves some complex problems. Incumbent generally has substantial work experience involving complex concepts and procedures in theories/concepts in own function.
• This role will perform work covered by International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Viable candidates for this position must be eligible for an export license or be a U.S. Person (which includes but is not limited to U.S. citizens or nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid: Monday's in office, rest of the week will be travelling across the state of Washington
• Typically, 3-4 overnights a month, can vary

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate

$78,000.00 - $125,402.51

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.

Remote work employees may be required to be present at the closest designated Arrow office for work-related purposes, at the Company's request and sole discretion.
