Job summary

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource company, seeks a Field Sales Representative to grow sales within an assigned territory by expanding existing accounts, identifying new opportunities, and delivering technical solutions that improve customer performance and reliability. This role requires building relationships and providing application support and training.

Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in industrial or territory sales, with strong communication and CRM skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Outside Sales, Industrial Sales, Territory Sales, or Technical Sales experience.
• Experience in fluid handling, filtration, flow control, or related industrial products is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing sales within an assigned territory by developing existing accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering technical solutions that help customers improve performance, reliability, and productivity.

Essential Functions

• Build and develop existing customer accounts within an assigned territory
• Prospect, identify, and secure new business opportunities
• Promote fluid control, filtration, fluid handling, and process solutions to industrial customers
• Provide product recommendations, application support, and customer training
• Execute a structured sales call schedule with regular customer visits
• Maintain customer activities, opportunities, and pipeline information within CRM tools
• Partner with Inside Sales, Sales Management, and supplier partners to deliver customer solutions
• Continuously expand technical product knowledge and sales expertise
• Represent Ryan Herco Flow Solutions with professionalism and integrity

Experience, Education and Skills

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of Outside Sales, Industrial Sales, Territory Sales, or Technical Sales experience
• Industrial sales experience in fluid handling, filtration, flow control, process piping, pumps, valves, tubing, fittings, instrumentation, or related industrial products strongly preferred
• Proven ability to develop business, grow accounts, and drive revenue growth
• Valid driver's license
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand customer applications and technical products
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Ability to travel as needed within the assigned sales territory. Some overnight travel may be required
