Job summary

The Pittsburgh Paint Company is seeking a Field Sales Representative to support The Home Depot and drive PPC product sales across assigned stores in the Cincinnati, OH area. You will develop strategic sales plans, manage key accounts, and collaborate with store teams to maximize product displays and in-store performance.

Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma with 1 year of sales experience (Bachelor's preferred).

Responsibilities

• Partner with The Home Depot to develop and achieve sales growth plans.
• Engage customers throughout The Home Depot store to uncover opportunities for PPC products.
• Use a CRM to grow the PRO customers' accounts.
• Analyze territory sales performance and develop growth plans.
• Identify in-store opportunities for displays (wing stacks, end caps) to cross-merchandise PPC products.
• Ensure CAR replenishment and accurate on-hand counts through cycle counts.
• Maintain color centers and perform shelf resets during Product Line Reviews.

Job description

As a Field Sales Representative at the Pittsburgh Paints Company (PPC) supporting The Home Depot, you will cultivate and execute sales plans and sell PPC products through several of the Home Depot stores.Primary end-use customers will include multi-family maintenance, facilities maintenance, residential repaint, hospitality and government.

You will be assigned Pro Managed Accounts within a territory and have responsibility for organic growth and new customer acquisition and development. You will work onsite in the Cincinnati, OH territory and report to the Regional Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with The Home Depot management teams to develop and achieve sales growth plans.
• Engage customers throughout The Home Depot store looking to uncover opportunities to introduce PPC products.
• Utilize a Customer Relationship Management Tool (CRM) - you will increase sales growth of the PRO customers' list of accounts.
• Analyze territory sales performance reports and develop strategic territory business plans to support growth.
• Identify in-store selling opportunities to secure wing stacks, bulk stacks, end caps, and stack outs to create impactful, cross merchandised, product displays.
• Ensure automatic replenishment system (CAR) is supplying product to support rate of sale, and on-hand inventory counts are accurate by performing cycle counts.
• Maintain color centers and perform shelf maintenance of all products in addition to completing resets of shelves and product during Product Line Reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum education High School Diploma with 1 year of sales experience. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 Year of experience can include educational classes and/or internships.
• This position is based on a 45-hour work week which includes base salary and overtime.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
