Job summary

Heartland, a Global Payments Company, seeks a Software Relationship Manager to prospect, present, and close sales with merchants in a fast-cycle POS environment. You will partner with a District Manager, train on our CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce, and upsell Global products and services to existing clients.

The role emphasizes in-person and phone-based presentations, field visits, and persistent pipeline development within a hybrid work model in the Chicago area.

Qualifications

• Requires excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills.
• Independence with team collaboration; hunter mindset with high urgency.
• High school diploma or GED; 2+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Close sales of Global POS solutions to small and mid-sized merchants.
• Set appointments with business owners; present POS solutions and close deals.
• Train with District Manager on short-cycle sales and CRM usage (Atlas/Salesforce).
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system.
