Region Energy in Hawthorne, NY is seeking an Entry-Level Field Sales Representative to expand our residential energy base. You’ll be in the field, building relationships, and representing heating oil and propane options to homeowners.

No energy sales experience is required—we provide comprehensive training, a competitive base salary with uncapped bonuses, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who works independently and meets daily goals.
• Confident communicator who enjoys face-to-face interactions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Results-oriented with a drive to exceed expectations.
• Organized and able to manage time and data.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• Able to overcome objections.
• Comfortable with tech (CRM systems, mobile apps, email).
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within territory.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet motor vehicle policy.

Responsibilities

• Generate new residential energy accounts by targeting home sales and following up on leads.
• Build referral networks with local community, businesses, and real estate professionals.
• Represent the company at community events and trade shows.
• Identify and pursue small-to-midsize commercial sales opportunities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers on heating options.
• Track prospects and progress using our CRM system.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service.
