Job summary

C & B Operations in Circle, Montana is seeking an experienced Sales Representative focused on new business development. This full-time role offers base salary plus commission and requires building relationships, prospecting, and presenting equipment solutions to customers.

Candidates should have at least 3 years of outside sales experience, strong communication and presentation skills, and a willingness to travel the territory. John Deere dealerships experience a plus; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years outside sales experience
• Experience developing and winning new business in a competitive environment
• Excellent questioning skills to tailor solution benefits to prospect needs
• Exceptional communication and sales presentation skills
• Willingness to travel across the assigned sales territory
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships and expand customer pipelines
• Implement strategies to increase sales and profit by prospecting within the defined territory
• Create customer specific proposals based on detailed needs analysis
• Conduct market research to produce competitive comparisons
• Develop and maintain expertise on industry trends and best practices
• Maintains sales management information for all customers in the assigned territory
• Maintains assigned company vehicles and equipment
• Conducts new equipment field demonstrations
• Monitors trends in customer’s business activities and provides timely communication to management
• Maintains current knowledge of used equipment values and has the ability to evaluate equipment properly for trading purposes
• Maintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goods
• Attends applicable sales training events/seminars
