Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Prior sales experience, especially in construction products, is a plus.
• Ability to plan, multi-task, and meet deadlines with quality and accuracy.
• Strong communication, tool dexterity and mechanical ability.
• PC skills including MS Office; valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel extensively within the territory, including overnight trips.

Responsibilities

• Promote OMG roofing products to commercial contractors in the territory.
• Build relationships with customers, foremen and other key roles on projects.
• Identify customer needs, influence buying decisions and close sales.
• Maintain customer databases and submit monthly progress reports.
• Utilize Salesforce.com and MS Office to track activity and performance.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing and Distribution teams on logistics and order fulfillment.
