Job summary

Charter Communications is hiring for a field sales role focused on acquiring new residential customers in MDUs through door-to-door visits. You will use a consultative approach to understand customer needs and aim to meet or exceed sales targets while offering Spectrum services.

The role includes a base salary with lucrative incentives, potential total compensation over $100,000 for top performers, and employee benefits such as free and discounted Spectrum services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-6+ months of sales or customer service experience.
• 1+ years of sales or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cold call sales techniques and persuasive communication.
• Ability to travel within assigned territories using a reliable personal vehicle, including during inclement weather.
• Capacity to work outdoors for extended periods in any season or weather.
• Familiarity with computer operating systems, smartphones, routers and wireless equipment.

Responsibilities

• Drive new customer acquisition by conducting door-to-door sales in assigned non-bulk MDUs with 49 or fewer doors.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales performance targets and penetration goals.
• Generate incremental revenue by adding Spectrum services within assigned properties.
• Respond to customer problems and complaints according to policy and ensure resolution.
• Maintain knowledge of competitors' activities, pricing, and offers; report changes to supervisor.
• Attend sales meetings and trainings; apply learning to improve results.
• Accurately complete documentation to support sales activities, including dispositions and sales orders.
• Collect and account for funds and provide receipts per company policy.
