Xylem in Charleston, SC is seeking an experienced Sales Representative (Rental) to drive growth for Godwin pumps, bypass systems, and dewatering solutions within a defined territory. You will develop and execute sales strategies, build relationships with municipal, industrial, construction, and emergency response customers, and expand rental revenue.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to manage a territory independently.

Qualifications

• 5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Proven rental/outside sales or business development experience.
• Familiarity with Godwin pump applications, dewatering, bypass pumping, or fluid handling solutions preferred.
• Strong CRM and business software skills, e.g., Salesforce.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and opportunity assessment skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation abilities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Travel requirement 50% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, contractors, municipalities, and industrial accounts.
• Promote and sell Godwin rental pump systems, bypass setups, and temporary pumping solutions.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in dewatering, bypass pumping, and related applications.
• Meet and exceed rental revenue, margin, and activity targets.
• Coordinate with operations and service teams to ensure timely delivery and support.
• Prepare quotes, proposals, and rental recommendations based on application requirements.
• Maintain CRM records and forecast branch performance.
• Ensure safety and compliance across rental activities.
