Job summary

Dunn-Edwards is seeking a Property Services Representative in Ventura, CA. This field-based sales role focuses on generating leads through closing sales for Dunn-Edwards products and services, mainly for property management companies and specifiers.

You will work closely with Outside Sales Representatives, develop action plans, conduct site visits, prepare specifications, and deliver compelling color presentations to win projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years of industry and role-specific training and experience or an equivalent combination.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Strong sales, relationship-building and presentation abilities; effective time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Regularly conducts sales, service, relationship and prospecting calls with property management companies and related clients to secure painting projects.
• Participates in trade associations and events to build relationships and sales opportunities.
• Maintains positive customer relationships and demonstrates product knowledge.
• Conducts site assessments, writes specifications and coordinates color presentations with clients.
• Provides project leads and conducts job walks with contractors to advance bids and close sales.
• Keeps accurate customer and project records and collaborates with National Accounts Manager.
