Job summary

Ryan Herco Flow Solutions, a SunSource subsidiary, is seeking a Field Sales Representative for Fluid Control Systems in Syracuse/Rochester/UNY. You will cultivate existing relationships, identify new prospects, and train customers on product applications.

The role requires a 4-year degree or equivalent, 1+ year in field sales, and a valid driver's license. You will collaborate with a regional team and use ACS for activity tracking, with a focus on professional, proactive service.

Qualifications

• 4-year college degree OR equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of field sales / outside sales and account management experience.
• Experience in industrial sales focused on fluid control systems is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to lead a team effort.
• Strong organizational, communication and training skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Solidify and further develop existing relationships with key customers.
• Identify and sell new prospects from current clients and referrals.
• Update customers' knowledge of products and applications and provide training.
• Submit a weekly sales call plan with a minimum of 5 calls per day.
• Document all customer contact and sales activities in ACS (min 3 times per week).
• Coordinate with Inside Sales, RSM and team on territory strategy and issues.
• Continuously improve product and sales skills and market knowledge.
• Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
