Job summary

Foundation Building Materials in California seeks an Outside Sales professional to drive growth through strong B2B relationships and value-driven solutions. In the field, you’ll uncover opportunities, support clients, and fuel long-term success with contractors, architects, designers, and building owners.

The role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and Microsoft Office skills, with a background in building materials and at least two years of sales experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; related field encouraged.
• At least two years of sales experience in building materials.
• Experience with fiberglass insulation, spray foam insulation, and accessories is helpful.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, build, and maintain customer relationships.
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers, architects, contractors, designers, and building owners.
• Develops and delivers sales presentations for new and existing customers in coordination with internal or vendor sale representatives.
• Attend required company training session and essential vendor trainings.
• Support Our Foundation in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers.
• Other duties as assigned.
