Job summary

All Star Rents, Inc. in California is seeking an Outside Sales Representative for the East District. You will develop new business, maintain relationships with contractors and industrial customers, and grow rental and sales revenue within your territory.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a Monday–Friday schedule and Commission-based earning potential. You will visit branch locations less than 20% of your time and collaborate with inside sales and yard personnel.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Valid CA driver’s license.
• Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US.
• Previous outside sales experience preferred (equipment rental or construction industry a plus!).
• Proven track record of success in sales and business development.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Self-starter and results oriented with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude that likes to have fun at work.

Responsibilities

• Prospect new and grow existing business within assigned territory through cold calling, jobsite visits, and referrals.
• Build and strengthen relationships with contractors, construction companies, and industrial customers.
• Identify customer needs and recommend equipment and solutions across the full product line.
• Leverage knowledge to support customer jobsite needs, increase sales, and conduct equipment demonstrations with basic operational training.
• Manage territory accounts through regular jobsite visits, proactive outreach, and relationship development to uncover new opportunities.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on leads, rentals, and opportunities.
• Schedule work orders and prepare rental contracts in coordination with branch operations.
